Derrick fits in well with the Seagate Inspections team and is able to use his experience and education in construction supervision and project estimating in the home inspection industry.

 

          When you meet Derrick you'll know why he's part of the team. He's energetic, a good communicator, and understands what makes the building tick.

           

          Derrick holds certifications in residential and commercial code inspection and upon coming on board with Seagate Inspections he underwent extensive hands on training in the home inspection industry. Derrick's training encompassed a 4-month period before performing his first solo inspection. Derrick like all of our inspectors has been introduced to much of what the real estate world can throw at us. As part of his ongoing education and training, Derrick is required to complete at least 30 hours of continuing education. He has passed both the National Home Inspectors Exam and the ASHI Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice Exam. Along with his ASHI membership he is also a certified member of NACHI.
