Keith’s interest and training in residential construction began with two years of vocational/technical school in the building trades.  He then devoted 8 years to residential construction building custom homes in the Ann Arbor, Michigan area.  During this time, Keith also completed several extensive, whole house renovation projects, which included kitchens, baths, heating systems, electrical systems, drywall, concrete, windows, siding and finish trim.  Keith chose to pursue the home inspection profession in 1996.  He completed extensive book and field training in home inspections prior to his association with Seagate Inspections in late 1996.  Since that time Keith has performed over 2,200 inspections on all types of residential and small commercial properties.

            Keith is a licensed Michigan Builder (License #2101154019) and performs all of his inspections according to the Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI).  Keith is a member of ASHI and a Certified Memebr of  NACHI. In addition, Keith holds a certification in Carbon Monoxide Analysis and is a construction defect specialist.  Keith has attended many in house and outside training seminars on mold, moisture, and other building related issues.
